About the event
Experience exploration of your mind-body connection in our four-week Somatic Awareness Group Program, designed to deepen your self-awareness. Guided by Clinical Psychologist Katerina Nemcova. Â Over the course, we will explore psychoeducation, embodied mindfulness practices and emotional regulation skills to help you attune to your body's cues and signals. Â Our program is held at the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Melbourne located in the heart of Fitzroy. Please note that as these sessions will be held in the afternoons, noise from the surrounding area may be present. Â Each week, our group will meet on the floor with props available to accommodate varying needs. Please keep this in mind for those who may find sitting on the floor challenging. Â Limited Capacity: To ensure a personalised and intimate experience, our program welcomes only a small group of participants. Early registration is recommended.

As a reminder, if you have a Mental Health Care Plan and have not utilised your group sessions this year, you can benefit from an out-of-pocket expense of just $55 per session or less. This is a cost-effective way to access quality support and care in an inclusive and welcoming setting. Please note that rebate is only processed if in attendance and on the day of the group meeting.
